Aims
The
aims of the Macedonian Human DNA Bank are:
to
provide genetic material for human variations in Macedonian population
inside and outside Republic of Macedonia, and minorities living in Republic
of Macedonia;
to
provide material for research into the molecular alterations associated with
population diversity and genetic disorders;
to respond to the needs of individuals and families who are threatened by genetic disease, particularly their wish to know whether or not they are at a risk of developing or transmitting a disorder with a genetic component.
